Create WooCommerce Delivery Slots
This lesson will be using the WooCommerce Delivery slots plugin. It’s a powerful plugin. This plugin extends the standard WooCommerce shipping capabilities with important date- and time-based capabilities.
Next, click on the General Settings tab. You can change the order in which the date- and time fields are displayed. This page also lists the delivery options available.
Navigate to the Date Settings tab. This page allows you to select which days of the week you wish to offer delivery slots.
You can also set a daily limit on the number of orders you can place. You will also be able to charge more for next-day and same-day delivery.
You can now go to the Time Settings page to schedule your deliveries.
Click the box next to “Enable Time Slots.” Then, go to the “Time Slot Configuration” area to configure.
To create slots, enter the Slot Duration or Slot Frequency boxes. If you only want to create a single slot, you can leave them empty.
From 6 a.m., we schedule time slots every 30 seconds. You can schedule time slots seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. We also offer premium time slots every 30 seconds from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays.
WooCommerce Reservation Delivery Time Slots
With the WooCommerce Delivery Slots plugin, you can also make delivery reservations. Customers can reserve a delivery window in advance.
Navigate to the WooCommerce >> Delivery slots page and select the ‘Reservation Table’ tab.
You can also change the settings of your table from here. You can limit the time a reservation is valid before making a purchase. You can also change the look to fit your shop.
Once you are done, click Save Changes. Copy the shortcode [jckwds] from the top of the settings page.
This shortcode can be added to any website page. This allows clients to reserve a delivery window before they make a purchase.
